Ultra Rare Vintage Protagon Tension Master 400 Tennis Racket - Historic Adjustable Tension Mechanical Pulleys System - Museum Quality Collec

**A Holy Grail of Tennis Engineering: Vintage Protagon Tension Master 400**

Up for sale is one of the most mechanically complex and fascinating innovations in tennis history: the **Protagon Tension Master 400** tennis racket (produced in Germany, circa late 1980s). Developed based on the famous patented designs of Herwig Fischer and famously endorsed by Björn Borg's legendary coach, Lennart Bergelin.

**The Ultimate Innovation:**
Instead of traditional stringing holes, this historic graphite frame features a network of built-in miniature nylon pulleys hidden inside the head. The racket utilizes an integrated mechanical tensioning screw control system located inside the handle. By inserting an Allen key into the butt cap, the player could mechanically tighten or loosen the entire string bed manually without a stringing machine, adjusting the tension dynamically via the numbered indicators (1-37) on the throat!

Because of the extreme manufacturing costs and over 75 moving internal parts requiring hours of manual fabrication, these rackets were produced in very limited numbers.
